But i was looking online today for spare nitrous bottles for when i get my set-up and the cheapest one i could find was like 107 dollars for a spare 10# tank..wouldn't a regular 10# certified gas bottle from a welding shop be the same as long as i have a nitrous oxide label on it? i know this may be a stupid question to some...but i just can't see putting out that much for spare tanks. thanks.
Cheapass. Only tanks used with carbon dioxide (C02) can be used in nitrous applications. Different flow valves though. Just buy the nitrous bottle. If you think the standard bottles are expensive check out carbon fiber bottles.
Talk about cheapass...I have had a nitrous setup for two years, and still haven't filled the bottle even once!
Dang a regular 20lb argon/co2 bottle from a welding shop for me was $250. I don't even want to know how cheap you guys get yours lol
I wonder why such a variation in prices...just availability? We can get it in several locations around houston and nobody complains about high prices like those.
