Well I just went to my website for silverwheels and guess what. It now says Hagerty silverwheels across the top of the page. Guess I can stay with my current company and go for the agreed value policy this year.

I have JC Taylor...120.00 a year and they upped my stated value on the Sprint from 7000.00 to 8000.00 this past summer. I dont have a mileage limit or driving restrictions either. You should definitely go somewhere else for insurance.
As for a fair price...At least what you have in it, plus purchase price at a minimum I would think.

Silver Wheels, I did the online quote for Haggerty.Ca, and they wanted $700/yr for $32000.00, Silver Wheels is $245.00. Eventually you'll see Haggerty buy them out from what I hear.

My Grundy costs $130 a year for $8500 coverage, the Vette is about the same. Grundy has been going through some changes, so not sure if they're writing new policies right now.
It sounds like you either had an agent who didn't want to sell agreed value coverage or just wanted your money.

i can't see why they have a problem with 7k. shop around..i was just looking into it here for myself. but it turns out there's only one place i can get it from, the only stuff/discounts i qualified for was still 99.60/month. http://www.ibc.ca/en/Car_Insurance/BC/ read up on it and that's what it told me.
maybe one day ill have a chance with someone else.
