Custom bumpers!!!!

    ok so i dont want to spend alot of money. my rear bumper is straight but not perfect chrome wise, has a little surface rust. the front will have to be straightened out. i want to make them look like brushed metal or nickel. anyone know how to do this i dont want to have them re dipped, can i just sand then in the direction i want?

    to me, to make it look right you will have to do all the trim , not just the bumpers...:yup:

    3M makes a brushed steel wrap. It's available on eBay. Maybe you could ask a local shop that does wraps if it would work on the curves on a bumper. Your stainless and aluminum could be given the brushed look by scuffing with a Scotchbrite pad and oil from what I've been told.

    A good chrome place would have a brushed nickel finish available.
