Now is the time to start making reservations for the 6th MCG Gathering to be held in Somerset, Ky. July 19th-22nd.
Host motel will once again be Country Inn and Suites.
(Think warm cookies) Donna said they would be ordering extra for us and some new flavors.
Cost will be $72 per night.
Studios are $82, and suites are $92.
We have a block of 30 rooms set aside for us. Call early, as we may need more. They will allow those prices for anyone that wants to check in as early as Monday, the 16th.
Phone # is 606-679-3711. Ask for Donna if there are any questions.

IF YOU ARE USING A DEBIT CARD IT WILL LOCK YOUR MONEY UP FROM THE TIME YOU MAKE THE RESERVATION. SO YOU MIGHT WANT TO THINK ABOUT MAKING THEM WITH A CREDIT CARD AND CHANGING WHEN YOU GET THERE.

As far as Saturday goes. We always have a car show at the park. With food to eat and door prizes for the participants, and for the kids. Even if you don't have a car you can register for the Gathering there and be included in the door prizes. Anyone that's registered will also get the dash plaque and a participants plaque. I guarantee you will have fun wether you have a car there or not. :)

I believe the MCG show is rather unique, in that it is more people-focused than anything else. There are several activities each day, most of them only involve Mavericks as a means of getting to & from them. The actual show/picnic is Saturday. I am not sure if Don & Ruth are doing any pre-registering, but if so, it is definately not any kind of requirement. All you need to do to be a part of it, is to show up and enjoy yourself and all the new friends you will make. See ya there. :thumbs2:

There will be an agenda posted soon. The park we used last year was not too far from the hotel. If you can make it to the hotel, we are out there, in the parking lot, until the wee hours of the morning.:)
