What would y'all think about 15" slot mags and white letter BFG's on my car? I know it's a look that Mavericks wear well in general, but I mean my car, specifically... Vs. what I have now. :hmmm:

id do it if I found real nice 15" slots. All I ever see are the 14" ones and I cant do that. Im about due for a change too.

I like what you have on there now.

If you swap, can I have yours?

Or if you are interested in Cragars, we can work out a deal. But mine are less than perfect.

I like slots if they are sized right.Hate white letter tires unless you getting paid by the tire company to advertise for them.I think it takes away from the car.JMO.

I prefer the slots, more old school. Perhaps with black walls. Here you go.

The mav is gone but i'm still here!
Check 70s Dodge tradesman vans at the junkyards. I think they came factory on most, because I've seen at least 10+ with them over the years.

    They're 15x8"(but i've also seen 14x6"s on them)
Only costed $100w/tires for a set of 4 (y) And they are light!

Also the Dodge Street Vans had chrome ones:

Reason I ask is, I'm very likely about to make a deal on another old Ford and it's currently wearing a nice (in pictures anyway) set of slots and BFG's. Before I found the wheels currently on my Maverick I had in mind a set of Ansen slots, I've always liked them and it is more period correct. Plus this other, bigger car I think would look great with the 17's. Then again, I also think the 17's look great on the Mav.

Won't cost anything to try it out I guess, if I still feel that way when I actually see this car on Sunday...
