Isn't that too long to fit in a Maverick or do you have other plans for it?

Im gonna narrow it to 53", moving the rear leafs inboard 3". I looked at buying a custom width from strange or currie $$$$. I just thought I might do it myself. Like I dont have enough to do already:cry:

Hmmm its friday sooo maybe Ryan will have his car up and running this weekend or not.

Hey guys, have you given any more thought about that car? I am interested in the spoiler setup along with the bumpers , hardware and tin. Also,I could go with you,Gene,to take a look at it if you like.Just sayin I'm in need of those items and prefer the "local" aspect of it.

I would think about going in on it but got no place to store it. i did till my son brought home his car and bike. I'm out of room now. I got 6 cars, a truck, a trailer, and 3 motorcycles. It looks like a car lot...LOL

Well,I have room for it...but it would have to be temporary.I already have a '55 chev pu,dismantled and when I brought a'74 four dr home to use as a parts car,she didn't express her enthusiasm in the same manner as me.:huh:So about a year ago, when I mentioned I found a '72 maverick,or '78 bronco, she ever so softly whispered "If you want a horse, get a herd, but before you drag home another jalopy, remove one".Did I also mention that was when she had me in a headlock?:bs:

I would clear some room for whats left of the carcass. I dont want doors, fenders, hood, deck lid, bumpers. It just needs to roll up onto the trailer. If we can agree to what each person wants and chip in the bucks then someone should look at it. I can be in PHX next weekend with a trailer.

    PS I want the A/C

I'd be willing to pay $200 for the two front buckets.

Ok, I just called on the mav on craigslist and had to leave a voice mail...told him I would like to come look at it tommorrow(Sunday) if possible. John (madmav) is willing to go with me. Waiting for a call back.

I just noticed that the craigslist posting has been removed.

Thanks Gene...that brings my cost to 750 plus gas. So...Madmav what can you kick in for the sheet metal? Theres a guy in LA who wants a complete 8" to bolt in, I could sell him that, cause I have another 9" I can get. I know this is a stretch of a DEAL but Im in, if we can make it happen.(y)
