Its the Add-On kit that uses the stock regulator. It worked great and fast until i put the weather stripping in. then ig got real slow. I thought it was just cause it was new and tight but 12 years later its still too slow for my liking. Plus at idle it dosnt get the power it needs so I have to rev the engine a little to get it enough power to roll up when I park. this is even with a 105 amp alt. Another reason is I have the windows tied into the alarm so they roll up if left down when the alarm is armed. Pretty cool trick and I like it. But I want to remove the alarm and dont want to mess with redoing the wires that are spliced. I want simplicity and cleanliness. If I was to rewire the care with a new harness Id probably keep them or put them back in.
Maybe fitting your alternator with a smaller diameter pulley would help, but not guaranteed. That is cool that your alarm system rolls the windows up as a fail-safe Ryan.
so this is where all the local guys hangout...It will be nice to meet some of you guys.. Ryan set up the meet!!! oh... but it has to be on a Sunday..
Bro..If Ryan sets up a meet there will be Rain Snow Sleet Hail and an earthquake. The track will be closed.
Safado...if you haven't already read all the previous posts you won't get this....hahaha...but it is true!
Maybe Hell will freeze over if I set up a meet. Because that will mean my car is back on the road. Why a Sunday Alex? What else do you have to do? Maybe we could meet and have a dyno day, but not at 1am. We could throw your buddy some extra cash and see what our **** does. Plenty of room in the back of the building to hang out and grill some burgers.
Went to the track yesteday for ADRA. 2nd round time trial I blew a rear wheel cylinder. Breaks went to he floor. Got stopped . No fun. Had to block off the line since no one had one. Got it home ok. What aday.
Yep, it was the sprint. Almost done with the race car. I'm also doing a disk break swap on the front while I'm at it. Cant wait!! :bananaman
