Front Spoiler for '69-'72 Maverick...$100

Talked to a guy the other day that says he has a fiberglass front spoiler for a 1969-1972 Maverick that he'll sell me for $100. He said it has been sitting for a while, but was never used. Is it worth $100? Do you think it is actually for a Maverick or more likely a Mustang? Either way i'm sure it will fit, but he insisted it was for a Maverick and not a Mustang.

 

Did he have any part #,s to refer to, or is it take a guys word for it.

 

If it is one of the old MAS spoilers.....I would say $100 is a fair price.

 

Is MAS the brand? Were they made for Mavericks?

 

Yes...MAS was a company up in Minnesota (I believe). They made it for a Maverick. Lots of guys on here have one.

E-bay 1969 camaro front spoiler 15.95 looks the same almost and if you hit a curb and break it you are not out much

 

I don't like the Camaro ones, any car guy can tell right away that it's a Camaro type as they don't look anything like any other spoiler. Also they aren't wide enough for a Maverick IMO. There's Camaro guys actually running Mustang front spoilers just for that very reason.

 

He says this is what it actually looks like on a Maverick.

 

Just get it. If you don't want it I will take it.

 

That's funny. I just told my girlfriend that I was going to buy it tomorrow and if I didn't like it that I would sell it to someone here for what I paid for it.
