I am about to get my 70 car back from the body shop soon. Since it took every cent I had ( woo is me) to get it done, I was going to do the trunk before I tackled the interior. So I have a few questions.

What kind of jack did the 70 have? Where was it stored? Was there a spare in the trunk? I would like to put in a jack and a spare in the trunk if there was. Even if they are not functional, id like to put something in for show. Was it a bumper jack or a scissor jack? Were they together on the left or the right? One on each side?

My 70 had a scissor jack retained by a small loop in the trunk floor on the passenger side of the trunk. It had a J-hook and wing nut similar to the later models that went through the spare center hole and lug wrench

OK, scissor jack on the passenger side. Where was the spare tire?

Here is the spare in my 1972. The trunk decal will tell you where it all goes.

    Here is a spare in a 1974 I owned.
