MCG Gathering motel 2/14/12

    As of today the motel still has 1 non smoking and 2 smoking suites left. These are not included in the block of rooms reserved for us. Also a number of non smoking rooms with 2 queen beds, and 2 with king bed-non smoking and 1 king smoking.

    If you are even thinking of going to the Gathering and staying at the host motel make your reservations now. If something happens and you cannot make it you can always cancel.

    IF YOU ARE USING A DEBIT CARD IT WILL LOCK YOUR MONEY UP FROM THE TIME YOU MAKE THE RESERVATION. SO YOU MIGHT WANT TO THINK ABOUT MAKING THEM WITH A CREDIT CARD AND CHANGING WHEN YOU GET THERE.

    I just switched and took the last non smoking "studio". The lady last night had put us in the "block" which was fine, but since the "studio" was avaiable we took it. We are in line for a "suite" if something comes up.

    Mike, we are planning to arrive in Sommerset on Wednesday also. Depending on what route you take, you may want to head our way and caravan on to Sommerset. (Wow, after bringing up the map, your route makes my trip look like a hop, skip, & jump.)(y)
