what size do you need?? i recently switched over the the NT05R from the 555R.. both good tires.. the 05R are much stickier though.. probably less mileage out of them though hopefully 5K i got 8K out of the 555Rs

Alex I know I have 255s out back, not sur eif they are 50s or 55s though for the aspect ratio. And they are 16 in wheels. maybe 255/50r16. Gonna be a while till i can buty some though. and 16s arent too common to find used. Unless somebody was out racing with the Mustang Pony wheels.

Another thing, if anybody sees a car being parted out locally and it has an A/C lower dash package tray let me know. I'd prefer a non LDO version but Id paint the vinyl again like I did mine if I find one. I cracked the area around the bolts on mine when putting it back in the car.

I'm hoping to pull my gauge cluster one of these days to see about fixing my windshield wipers and to lube my speedo... I have never been able to pull it completely out because I couldn't ever disconnect the wire connector, I can get the speedo cable but never the connector.
I've been thinking about trying to tune my distributor (I don't even know if I can flip the weights on the oem electronic distributor...) but I'm not sure on how to take it apart to flip the weights to increase the base timing while maintaining the total timing. I called in today but I can't see myself out there working on it with a twisted ankle...

Yes its true. I thought about taking a vid while driving, but with no power steering and shifting the car my hands were full. Just going to have to take Gene and my words for it.

Its a totally different car. It sounds different, revs different, and feels lighter. I only got on it a little from a roll and broke the tires loose. Even after driving my stang with a 5 speed daily the mav still feels like a handful with all the shifting. with the 3.89 rear end the gears are shorter and and its alot of shifting and throttle management, unlike the fuel injected 5.0. Im sure it will be better after I run all this old gas through and get the carb cleaned out and running better.

I may take the stang out to the cruise again, its cheaper to replace the tires on after all the burnouts. Or maybe the Maverick if theres going to be a few of them there.
