What did you do to your Maverick or Comet today

    Thanks, oh just a thought and I remember seeing this as a kid after we rebuilt a 289. The timing cover had a pin hole behind the water pump. Electrolysis had eaten into it. Didn't notice it until two sets of head gaskets and heads later...Boy was my boss pissed...He was the one that missed it..

    I don't remember checking the timing cover, I gave it to my Buddie for his maverick lol

    The water pump was good also, heck for being 30+ years old it looks better than the chinese autozone one I replaced on the Tbird a while back!

    looked puzzled at my driver's side door glass which fell down the door. looks like i didn't seat the plastic fasteners completely. will dig trough the door tomorrow...

    Got an order in from Auto Krafters so will be getting some small things done this weekend. Wheels and Tires will be in by Wednesday so will try to get car lowered this weekend so when they come in the car will look SWEET!

    we done it...readjusted my CalTracs..
    half the spin and straight...:chirp:
    could not belive the difference...no wobble or bobble at all...:thumbs2:

    they were about 4 turns too loose...:yup:

    How did installing your new leaf springs go?...I have a pair a General Springs 4 leaf springs what to install....I have the perches and the springs....What else do I need to have?

    Drove it to go get parts for a job, spent the day going over a few things on a 67 gt350 and then finished up building a blow through carb.
