I made these because my car is so low in the rear now that my new drag shocks where almost bottomed out

( tucking a 28" tire hard) im approx 2- 3" off the bumpstops

Then i modded the upper eyelet to fit my needs

    Then i bolted them in...

now if i can get someone with a stock height car to give me there shock lengths hanging/ride height i can compare.

Then I got around to installing my personal "joe dirt fab" fuel filter (these make a fram hpg1 look like a cork in your fuel system. i gained 3psi of fuel pressure from just the filter swap vs 200 miles on a clean fram!

I'm in the same boat as well. I'm very impressed by the kit, but so pricey. Probably worth it but its not easy for me to drop $2000 on fuel delivery.

I spent yesterday cleaning up the Maverick and installing the new wheels and tires. The rear tires are too deep and will hit the fender lip so I ordered the correct wheels and will use these on my Ranchero. I cut a half coil off of the front springs, but will more than likely cutr another half coil once they settle and put 1" blocks in the rear. The wheels are 15x5 and 15x8 with 205 60 15 in the front and 255 60 15 in the rear...

Looks good. Changed the whole look of the car. Hope to see it next weekend at the dyno meet.

BTW, My car has 1 coil cut, old springs. And 1 inch blocks in the back also.

Replaced the strut rods..................or really wanted to but the Global West strut rods were just a little too long..................about a 1.25", and that is with the adjustment all the way forward. Called and talked to them this afternoon and they agree'd to make some new ones and will send them to me to replace the ones that are too long. No asking for money, or sending the old ones back, they will make new ones about 1.75" shorter, have them powder coated and sent me. When I get them I'll put them on to make sure they fit, put the old ones in the box and they will pay the freight back down to L.A.......you can't beat that kind of service.........................sure I was slightly frustrated because I can't get the front end together, but this will give me time to change out the master cylinder and work on the pedal ratio.
Hope everyone is having a better day than I am............................
