Took a 45 mile ride south in the maverick to make a few test passes yesterday so i loaded up my tools, jack, spare parts and headed south to paradise dragstrip (1/8th mile) on the way i broke both my shock brackets and had to do a pit repair once we got there.
I also learned that im going to have to get rid of this 3/8th pickup tube and sump this tank to keep it from starving for fuel (330" it falls flat) witth a 16.0 afr that it doesnt seem to do on the street due to limited traction and that my cold plugs are not cold enough (103 autolites).

best et letting off at 330" 6.90 @89 <- lol

best mph letting off 103 mph

    best 60' 1.62

Hopefully i can get these small issues out and get it where it should be running in the 6.30-6.40 range

all runs where made on a 275/60 hoosier drag radial that seemed to fair till the track went away after all the street tires

    90 mile round trip

A good time was had by all despite the setbacks :tiphat:

Didn't work for me either........I am a facebook member. Just said it "was unavailable at this time".
Nice to see someone getting to the strip and laying down some good numbers!
Was that red Maverick beside you a ProMod car?
