I'm not sure most people realize how fast sub 7sec times are in the 660' really are...........................especially from a street car.
The fastest time I've personally had with the Maverick.........although I was going the full 1320, was a 660' time of 6.167 @109.............and that is with a drag only, purpose built race car...............and I'll bet that Russ's Maverick gets just a little better than 3/4 miles per gallon.
Very, Very nice Russ............if you keep this up you'll have to get the car cert'd for under 10sec quarters..............and actually get your comp license!

Well, I can beat Frank for waiting on parts.........mine have been coming for three weeks...............and still not here although I do have a tracking number.
Return'd the cam to Crower, did more matching on the intake, got the fittings for my Pre-Oiler so I think I can install it...........still need to mount it/figure out where to run the line/have them made as I hate braided line..............waiting for the carb to come back from The Carb Shop after being on their engine dyno...................WILL IT EVER END?

I think you're mojo has rubbed off on me.............the master cylinder from Aerospace Components has been lost........it's been over a week since it was supposed to be here..............the special bolts I ordered got here today but are the wrong size......................and knowone can find the cam I sent overnight yesterday..........................the only thing I got accomplished is having new oil lines made for the remote filter/I have one side of the disc brake swap finished..................but still waiting on the Global West replacement for my strut rods that were too long............now need to have some brake lines made for the calipers to T on my old system.
