they must have thought I ordered your parts...:D
Jeff and I were talking yesterday about this. I told him, I can screw up enough with the right parts, they don't have to send me wrong or damaged stuff...:bouncy:

    I have a 71&74 maverick
i got the new tranny mount for the 72(gray one) its been about 300 miles since the new engine was installed so i'm going to adjust the valves and the "blue"(purple) on is going off to the local auto electric whiz to have the new fuse box installed and perhaps finally tags and plates. still gotta get the Marti report on the purple/"blue" one. I'm gonna have it restored professionally, the '72 I'm doing that one on my own(and with family):drive: rose_858_original.jpg

Ok, spent most of the day chasing parts, got the hoses for the remote oil filter done, working on adapting the braided hose from Aerospace Components to my stock brake system, finally received the Aerospace master cylinder with (attached push rod)...............Talked with the cam guys about my cam and they are putting one on the cam grinder as I right this, should be done and on it's way back to me tomorrow..........it was their issue and they stepped...............what can I say about Crower, although I was a little bent out of shape, they took care of it and will overnight it to me. Talked with Eric at Global West about my shorter strut rod and it is being sent to me today..........................put a new steering wheel on because the old one was coming apart.............gas is $4.45per gallon here in the Bay Area........................that is for mid grade which the truck loves!

Would love to see some pictures of really how tight it's going to be.
My car was built for the HNRA B/SM class back in the late 70's and it also had a 302 with Boss Heads on it. Back then you couldn't shave the towers for any clearance. I haven't asked the original owner what kind of heads he had on the car but my guess is that they were custom. The headers I have on the 408 now are really close, but I believe they would have gone on without the towers being shaved...................but it would be almost impossible to change plugs.

Swapped out the too deep torque thrusts on the rear for a set that doesn't rub. This weekend we will start work under the hood to make this thing more driveable!
