Out cruisin again today! I had a bit of a scare, though! Two folks were following me on bikes and I saw one frantically waving and pointing at what I thought was my car! I pulled over to see what was wrong and it turned out they just wanted to look at the car! Here we sat for about 15min, shootin the bull and reminiscing these era cars. I'm enjoying this great weather and I know our visitors sure appreciate it! Looks like I'm gonna be pouring a bit of fuel into her this week! :thumbs2:

Got the new cam back from Crower, installed and check'd..........it is dead on spec. Am changing over to 3/8 push rods and 7/16 studs. The cam right on the money. Going to 8.8" long/.95 wall thickness 3/8 push rods and dialing the cam in I gained almost .005 lift over spec..........very happy with what Crower sent me back............they did step up and take care of their mistake. Now have .100 between the valve and top of piston on the intake and .125 on the exhaust..........................and should help stiffen up the valve train:dancing:

I pulled most of the front suspension out of the maverick. I'll be getting new bushings and joints.

I rolled the parts 67 cougar up to the barn to compare spindles etc. sense it has power disc brakes.:)
