I'm about to begin a conversion on my '71 Comet 2dr from a 250 I6 to a 302. The Comet is running a C4 at this time and I will replace it with a stronger C4 that came with the engine. Are you planning on useing the stock exhaust manifolds or a set of headers? I'm going with the Hedman 88300 Headers for ease of installation. I've still got to replace the entire brake system and a full set of tires. I will be lookin' for a four (4) BBL intake manifold and a small (550 to 650 CFM) carb OR a two (2) four (4) BBL manifold, a set of "4 to 2" BBL adapters a set of 350 CFM carbs and some linkage. Too many ideas and not enough time, oh well. Please advise on that exhaust sys. Thanks...Garv "kafrompa"

Stopped raining so I did some more sanding and priming. Removed the rear quarter bumper fillers from the 71 4 dr donor and put them on my 73 1/4s.
I gonna use the 71 bumper brackets to tuck the bumper on my 73. dscf0148_original.jpg dscf0149_original.jpg

recently bought a 71 for parts, took all the front suspension, interior, exterior. pretty much anythin tht was bolted on (excluding the rocker panel i cut off) now i have my 74 on jack stands and am about to pull the suspension off it and switch. rite now though im doing the tidious task of taking every part and cleaning them, then coating them in flat black rust resistant paint including the 68 mustang front disc brakes!! im quite happy with tht :)

It looks like someone spent a lot of time wrapping them, great job!
Those are some long primaries, how long are they to where they meet the collector?
