On another note I saw mntony this weekend. Guess his wife was away and he snuck out to the track.

They say as you get older your reaction times slow down, so how come I red lit in the second round?

 

That has nuthin to do with age....Its called premature E&^#(&*n.

 

I snuck out! The wife had her knee blow out last week at work and I managed to steal away while she was stuck on the recliner! It was a good day, my buddy Tony came in second for the first time. He made it to the final against Tebor and lost in a double break out. Factoring in the wind at that time, I'm guessing that shoebox must have been building some kind of torque to break out! (10.48 on a 10.55 dial)

 

Great race for Tony. That Tibor is one tough racer. He was one of the top stock class racers in the nation a few years ago.

 

cruise on central

Hi guys, I was curious if the Cruise on Central is the next proposed gathering and if anyone knew the date & time.Thanks, John

 

Hi John, there are two events coming up...

The first one is the Jennabears car show on Saturday April 7th from 9am to 3pm at the Peoria Sports Complex. That's near the 101 and Bell, 16101 N 83rd Ave.

Then the Cruise on Central on April 14th from 1pm till 9pm at Park Central Mall (Central and Earl). Keep in mind that in the past we have parked in the Applebee's parking lot at Central and Camelback, cruising from there.

Not that I'm organizing any of this...nor am I calling anyone to remind them (Ryan!).

Ryan mentioned it in an earlier post and I like to go to support the cause. It's close by and a good chance to get the cowb webs out of the car. So I am going to be there, but I'm not sure how many others are planning for it.

 

Im not planning nuthin. I'm going to try to go to the Jennabears show. I'll also try to go to the Central cruise. but being as they are back to back weekends I might make one or the other.

Either way I'll be displaying my new full exhaust out the back. getting it redone next week at a friends shop for the cost of materials.

As it stands now I am planning to go to the Cruise on Central and probably park in the Applebee's lot but prob won't head over there till 3 or 4 pm...

 

Ill get some when im working on it, probably next wed. or thurs.

If I head out to Central Ill be out there later, like around 6 or so. Applebees sounds good. Too packed any farther south and its a good spot to cruise from and come back to and still have your parking space.

 

Hey Ryan, when's the Cruise on Central happening, anyways? I used to go to the thing, but that was years ago.

Well yesterday was one of the worst days i have ever had. We got robed. Just like on TV. Came home from work and everything was gone thru drawers pulled out dumped on floor. Lap tops gone, tvs, jewelry, titles to cars,keys to wifes new car and her motorcycle, camera,my sons swords.Lots of stuff. I am so pissed. I have insurance but its still going to cost us a grand. It F-in sucks big time.
