no im using a cooler mounted in front of the radiator. and the dipstick is the factory original. i filled it to the top of the marks on the stick. dry converter and dry pan. i think it was about 7 quarts.

i just looked up my converter and it says its for a case fill c4 and mine is a pan fill c4. could this be causing it? it dropped in all 3 clicks and its pumping fluid up to the cooler.

Don't know what it originally cost, but I didn't give anywhere near that for it. It's the original drivetrain from Joe Dirt (Russ') car. I bought the engine, all the turbo and EFI stuff pretty much as a drop in setup a couple of years ago, just keep getting side tracked by other things and haven't gotten around to messing with it.

Well, the motor is finally back together and waiting for the dyno to be free.
Don't have any pictures of the finished motor but here is one I took when we re-dialed in the new cam.

    Charged AC

Got the AC charged up. Had not installed the dryer, hoses or belt since installing the 347. Could have used the AC the last few days. Dryer from RockAuto, that was SUPPOSED to be right for the Mav, went in with a little tweaking. I'm just glad there is something available that ALMOST fits.
