Glad youre all OK....It has been my experience, that God has no sense of humor concerning these matters. Justice will be done, whether we know or hear of it. :Blasting::Blasting::Blasting::Blasting:

x2 for what Resto said. Dude, I'm really sorry to hear that. I've had my stuff jacked before, too. You get that helpless, sinking feeling in your stomach. You bust ur ass and work hard for something and someone else thinks they're entitled to it just bacause they're too damn lazy to work themselves. If the law can't square up for ya, fate finds a way no matter what. I friggin' hate thieves with a passion.

Did any of your neighbors see anything? Also, if they nabbed the keys, they're planning a return visit. May even follow you to work one day and hope to get the vehicles while ur inside. Not trying to freak you out, but, plan accordingly.

I really feel for you .I litterally just hung up the phone from my buddy Chris. Our last topic of discussion was how I walked in on an incomplete robbery at my house. They fled out the side window with only what they had in their pockets(jewelry & old american coins & foreign money, But all the big stuff was piled in the garage. They were waiting on their driver }as I was coming into the garage! So dang violated & angry. They absolutely were so lucky I didn't catch them.Neighbors even flagged a patrolman down & pointed at &gave description of the 2 guys running .No backup.Anyways, I really do feel for you,Robbie !

Man I feel for you Robbie. I've been there myself on a couple of occasions. It seems some scumbag always feels the need to take stuff that we've worked so hard for. I also know the feeling of vulnerability afterwards. Just try to remember that there are a lot more people out there that are good than are bad. It's tough to remember that at a time like this though. Hang in there buddy. Our thoughts are with you.

I'm not trying to freak you out either, but I,ve heard from family in law enforcement that they sometimes hit again, a few months later ,assuming insurance replaced things.

For what it's worth about 5 years ago we had some issues with slashed tires. Happened 3 times. I got the creeps on camera, told the police who they were (my son recognized them) and where they lived and nothing ever came of it. I suppose that they got a stern talking to by the police (although it cost me well over $1500 in tires). An alarm is good for piece of mind while you are home, but beyond that I wouldn't expect too much to come out of it. It seems these days (and now I'm sounding like an old man) that there really aren't any consequences. Protect your family first and the rest (material things) will work out in the end. Karma or a higher power I suppose. Hang in there Robbie, at the very least we are here for you.

I read some stats that said DOGS are the best deterent to burglars. I like GSPs. An alarm salesman came over to the house a couple weeks ago trying to sell me an alarm system, offered it for free if I let him put a sign in the yard. I told him dont need no alarm, I got plenty of Guns. He said "What about when youre not home"? I said "thats what the dogs are for, go ahead walk in the front door." He wouldnt do it.:evilsmile

That's the deal I have worked out with my 117 lb. Bullmastiff/Shepherd mix... he gets the ones that come in the back; I get the ones that come in the front. :Blasting:

Yup...My dogs live in the house they have a large doggy door with a doggy swimming pool in the back yard. They like it here. So when Im not home they get the the back, the front and the inside. When Im home they are the best alarm system and they get out of my way. Ive had some big troble here in the past 3 at once they got the .45, a guy tried to ram my house at 5 am he got a GSP out the front door and a 12 Ga pump, his car got hung up on some RR ties in my front yard, he was trying to get to the living room. I had one guy acually ring the doorbell and got P@@@@#d off when I wouldnt let him in, He got the .45 also. Then there was the time when 16 Ileagles wanted in. Ha Ha Ha. The Sheriff had to call me after the INS moved in to make sure I wasnt gonna shoot them too. We have a "Safe Room" in my house. The wife goes in the safe room and I Do my Thing, just like a Good Marine.
My house is 15 Mi. from the Mex Border, it was a rental that was used as a drop off for Cyotes. I renovated it and turned the niehborhood around. I clean all my guns twice a year on a large table in the driveway. My niehbors Love Me.

PS I dont advocate the use of deadly force. In addition to my Military training I am also trained as a "Body Gard" at Paulden AZ. "Gunsite".
My wife is paralized, she has been a Psyciatric Social Worker for over 18 yrs with over 2000 outpatients. I have current Top Secret Security Clearences. I rarely go anywhere unarmed. I have a Criminal Lawyer and a Civil Lawyer on retainer. Because if I dont get arrested for protecting my home and family I will certainly Get sued. Its a lifestyle I chose when my wife was injured. I own it. If anyone cannot, with "Just Cause", "Exercise" the use of "Deadly Force" under "The Law", and live with the consequense, then do not do it. 27 yrs ago I was B11111ed out by cop with yuma pd for not shooting a junkie that was robbing my niehbors house, he came at me with a screw drived, at the last min. he pitched the screwdriver and ran. I took a step back with a bead center mass and let him run. I was fully willing to pull the trigger, but I was not in any danger at any time, because of the way I am trained. I still train.

    Thank you for your service.

I was raised very old school (by my grandparents). Grandfather was a WWII Navy landing craft pilot who received a medal for heroism in the Normandy invasion.

God, country, family, and friends are the things I would, readily, lay my life down for. Or, somebody else's if they so choose to threaten them.
