    Upgrades

I picked-up a set of Hedman 88300's, a 302 from a '68 Fairlane GT, a set of 302 engine mount brackets and motor mounts a rear cross member and a set of barke lines. I will get a new Master Cylinder, all four (4) wheel cylinders and all three (3) brake hoses tomorrow along with all four (4) front wheel bearings and two (2) wheel seals. I will soon buy a Comp Cam "K31-242-3" cam kit and a RP1431-19 Comp Cam push rods, Roller Rocker arms, pivot balls and adjuster nuts and a full set of new Goodyears. I'll be pullin' the wheels and drums tomorrow to measure the drums and gettin' all new brake shoes. I'm gonna be one busy camper this next week or so!

gutted my interior and was happy to find very little rust in the floor:clap: also took off the remainder of the emblems on the car, the radio and the antenna (all the holes will be welded up).

Cleaned up my front brakes, wheels and wheel well area, and painted the calipers. Looks a heck of a lot better!

I got my OLD exhaust put on today..

I cut the tailpipes off at the mufflers 13 years ago when I put in the Currie Heavy Duty housing 9 inch rear. The pipes were hitting the housing. I never got around to putting them back on till today. Just had to shorten the tail pipes up a bit to get the hoops centered to clear. I would have taken pics but it wasnt much to see, just old rusty looking taipipes modified and welded back in place.

It sure sounds alot better inside the car now.

is there an advantage to having either of those? or is it mainly for different sound?

What mufflers are those? My exhaust should go on this next week. Summit sent the wrong torgue converter so the project is delayed until the right one shows up tomorrow.

The x pipe or cross over pipe is there to equalize the exhaust between the 2 pipes and increase hp. I would recomend using one.
