lol.. It's progress Dave . I will be working on the headliner soon. What's a good adhesive to use for glueing some matting to the roof inside? Maybe it's not that criticle. Once the liner is up if it lets go it has nowhere to go.. ? I thought about that peal and seal but I worry that the sun could get the roof hot enough to create a problem and then I have goo or an odor or something. I do plan to have a vinyl top so maybe the sun effect won't be so bad..
I don't know? I removed the factory insulation, and used Dynamat Extreme on the inside my roof. It's been out in the sun a lot, with no issues. I like to use stuff like it's intended, instead of taking a chance, and having to do it over.
Impressive! But I have no idea where they go lol, even though you say dash-pillar. dont recall anything looking like that in my car.
Peel & Seal doesn't smell when it gets hot...Your confusing asphalt with tar. I used P&S on my ceiling. Be sure to clean the heck out of the metal before you apply and it will never be able to un-stick.
as you can see, Jeff cleaned the roof and then put...Rust Bullit...on. that makes a good surface to apply the Peel and Seal...
I did my windsheild posts with the extra fabric they send with the headliner. I think it's for the visiors, but my visiors were in good shape so I didn't need it there.
