I here you Eric, but if you get the guys that are true car guys, like who you see out at a car show, then you wont have a problem. When is the last time you heard any arguments over vehicles while at a local car show? everybody is just there to have a good time and share stories. Its the youngsters that bring the party down online. I may just have to use the Delete User button sometimes and keep things civil. but I dont think it will be a problem.

Hey guys, off topic but does anyone have a pair of steel 15" wheels from a mid 70's car? Specifically a 15" x 6" or 15" x 7" with the Ford 5 on 4 1/2 bolt pattern? I'm looking for a pair that would accept my hub caps and still clear my rear disk brakes so I can drive this thing without the slicks. Please let me know if you've got a pair that you would part with.

I'd like to go. Haven't been in a few years. However, I'm going into the shop on Sat. to do some copper work for our Piping Operations Manager. It's a side-job, but, with what he's going to pay me, I can rebuild my entire rear suspension and some of the front. Don't know how late I'm going to stay.

Good news is I'm wrapping up my 8" rebuild. :) Bad news is that I only need one more part to do it. The Motive Gear rebuild kit came with everything but the pinion nose bearing retainer. Damn.

Behind the scenes preview (pics viewed left to right):

1.) Old(right): 2.79 open diff / New(left): 3.80 Auburn posi (the little spider-washer is the old retainer mentioned above that I need to replace)

2.) Freshly cleaned and painted case

3.) The rest of the driveline awaiting re-assembly/overhaul

4.) Pics of the car (You guys are the 1st to see it. Nothing special, just never posted any pics of her 'til right now)
