Pulled the leaky radiator from my 70 Grabber. Going to get it fixed or purchase a new one.

What I did to my maverick today was take the coil out, and donate it to Phreeq's maverick so he could drive to work tomorrow.

We did a starter swap, then found the battery dead, and finally found that his coil had cracked at the top and was leaking oil, so I drove home, donated my coil, and he is back at work tomorrow!

i painted my 68 cobra mustang calipers brillaint red, the spindles fomoco blue, and some more front suspension and steering box flat black. my plan is to do the coil shocks red and the upper and lower control arms tht ame blue as the spindles. then throw it all together. still debating on getting a brake booster... its only a straight-6 and very light. i dont think itll hurt anythin

Washed it, Attempted to fix my exhaust leak, attempted to tighten my carb which is stripped, and greased it all up. unfortunately we ran out of grease so it's still got some squeak to it.

haha it should be hidden and people will be looking at how pretty the motor is anyways :D

Here is a little better shot of it and you can see the flake a little better. Note to self... when people say to use a base coat/ clear coat over single stage listen to them, this took 3 trys to paint to get the flake to lay down correctly and to get the nice gloss like there is a few coats of clear. I forgot to mention this was the first time painting other than a rattle can and I want to be able to say yes I did the paint. The rest of the car might be a little easier cuz I wont be standing in the motor compartment trying not to touch what i just spreayed. They told me if I could spray the silver flake and make it look good the pearl blue race stripes and the sides of the car should be easier :thumbs2:

Not to shabby for the first time. Eng compartment is difficult to paint due to all the curved surfaces and nooks and crannies where panels meet. You did allright...(Except for the runs)...LOL...

Im confused..... the run is really small and so is the error in the flake and in these pics you cant see either of them AT ALL so I dont know what some of you guys are even talking about or even laughing....
