The bucket seat that came in Mavs/Comets are the same as 71-73 Mustang seat frames with different upholstery on them.

The seat tracks are the hard-to-find item. They are Mav-specific. Once you have them, though, many Ford bucket seats will bolt right up to them. Most Ford seats have carried forward the same bolt pattern from the 70s until now.

What year is your Mav? ... the floor changed in the later years to accomodate a catalytic convertor.

They you will want the earlier tracks, like these ....

Can't have this set ... they just found a home in mine, finally.

These are Luxury Decor Option tracks. The other option is the tracks that come with highback buckets, and those have a riser built into each. I am 6'1" and these shorter track actually work out better with highback seats for me.

This is a 71-73 Mustang seat, and what I am using.

Ford never put buckets in a 1970 Maverick. Even if you had Maverick bucket seat tracks, they really won't work with a 1970 floor pan. It will get you close, but it will still take some fabrication. You might be able to find another set of bucket seat tracks off of another car that could get you closer.
