Yeah right..... It's triple white, mostly original paint and needs to be painted..... Relatively new top, so so interior and the shell is solid(no rust and no major dents).....
Almost done with what I need to do on the Mustang vert for my dad..... I am leaving for a 5 day vac first thing in the am, then the following weekend I will get the Stang stuff done..... I might get back to mine on Sun that weekend, if not the weekend of the 28th for sure.....
Finally got my dad's Stang going last Sunday, then cleaned up the shop and dragged the Mav out of the corner and uncovered it..... I am going to get back to work this weekend..... Here's my dad's stang.....
Great work on the Mustang! My wife has a '93 vert, 4cyl. She loves that car. I hate that car. I have literally spent days trying to get the door windows and quarter windows to line up and seal. Replaced all the rubber I could. Still leaks when it rains, LOL.
Me too..... It's a really solid car, but still in need of paint and seals..... This is the 85 I sold before buying the Mav..... Thanks, I'm just happy to be able to get back on the Mav..... His needs a bunch of seals, and window guides but he can take care of most of that a little at a time(I'll probably end up helping some though)..... I think some of the leaks kind of go with having an older vert.....
I bought a 86 notch four cyl/auto from my mother in law I wish I kept it... she got it new and I paid $400 bucks for it, It was in perfect shape...
Finally some progress once again..... Finished getting the tail light panel ready and painted it matte black..... I also recently bout my front wheels, so I installed the valve stems and took them over to my buddies shop to mount/balance the tires..... Here's the painted tail light panel..... and here is all the wheels/tires together.....
Looking really good Frank! Glad you are back on the car, I love the inspiration you provide me. Glenn
Frank, does your Caprice gaskets cover all of the original Maverick tail light holes completely? Maybe mine were a little off but I wound up welding all of the original holes up solid so they won't leak because the Caprice gasket wasn't 100% covering the Maverick holes
