Impressive job! What brand/of paint are u using? What size cans? Got me motivated to do my tail panel frm a flat black to a semi-black. I used Rust-O-Leum auto paint on the grille and core support and seem to like it.
Ok so here's some pics! Before and after shots of the rims. Also the rear bumper filler I made out of some plastic gutter protectors. I like how the rims came out , it changes the whole look of the car.
Nice work. Looks alot better and for cheap with alot of elbow grease. I like the way the black in between the door frames turned out. I bet if you tinted the windows it would help even more to give it the hard top look and make the pillar blend in.
Todays list of work included , painting the grille black , adding windshield and hood trim , reattaching door handles , and finishing painting the window trim black. I also glued the "O" back onto the back so now it says ford. Also tried a few beauty pics.
I kinda don't like that front bumper , more so the two metal parts that stick out with the rubber on them. How hard would it be to delete those? Are they required or just bolted on as extras? Next I will be reassembling the interior , and painting the letters on the tires. Yes I want white letter tires so I'm going to have to paint the ones I have , lol.
I saw a bolt under the bumper guards , is it just that one? or does the entire bumper have to come off and there's more behind them?
