I work late tonight and going junkyardin tomorrow with the father in law. I dont think Ill have time to get the car running, unless its something real simple. If for some reason I get it going I can text tony and gene or post up here if I end up going.

Maybe Ill just bring the mustang up and check out the cars anyways. Or maybe even my truck. It seems to get more attention then the maverick and its actually up and running right now.

Getting a new best would be nice but with the weather as warm as it is not sure if that will happen.

Went Junkyardin this weekend. At Ecology on Broadway there is a 73 4 door comet. Nice front fenders and hood. Small rear bumper a little bowed but savable with all the mounting stuff.

At the 23rd ave Ecology there was 4 or 5 Mav/Comets. Mostly big bumper 4 doors but saw one 2 door. Not alot of the sought afer stuff left on them but some usable parts depending on what you need. One had the mav tail lights and one still had the comet light. Saw atleast one still had the disk brake front set.

It was very odd seeing this many in one trip. I usually see maybe one when Im out junkyard hopping.

Its great that you have a good bunch of Maverick/Comet fans in your area. You and the Georgia folks have it going on. Good luck with the new web site. Good idea. Wish we had something like that in NC.

I saw that. It looked like you didnt have an email address entered. It showed it was blank. Now it shows the email address today but still not activated. this has happened before. I will delete what you did so far and you can start over and use te same user name.

When I registered I did not get the activation either and had to request the code again...then it worked.
