...bad board???

    I'm having trouble getting around on the board. I get into a thread and can't go to next page...get on page 3 and can't back up to page 2...can't get into a lot of threads...:huh:

    Try clearing your temporary internet files (eg cache) to see if that helps.

    cleared and rebooted...
    seems to be worse this morning.
    I can go to Summits web site and no problems.
    it took me 15 mins. to reply to thes thread...:yup:
    when i click on a thread, at the bottom of the page...done...pops up but nothing changes.

    No problems here, maybe it's one or more of the "hops" between servers?

    That could be the problem, which can be identified by running a traceroute. Here is how to do it on Windows.

    Windows 7 or Vista: From the Start menu, in the search field, type cmd , and then press Enter.
    Windows XP: From the Start menu, select Run... In the "Open:" box, type cmd , and then press Enter.

    At the command prompt type the following
    Code:
    tracert maverick.to > trace1.txt
    Next, type the following
    Code:
    tracert mmb.maverick.to > trace2.txt
    Email the trace to me at maverick@maverick.to

    That is a screen shot of how long it takes for the site to respond when it is fetched from different locations around the world.

    yesterday was...75%
    i've only had to go out and log back in once this morning...:thumbs2:
