I have never named any of my cars, although they have all been females. Many years ago I had a Toyota Camry that the previous owner named Doobie. The personalized plate read "1 DOOBIE". You can probably figure out why.
Yea, the cops around here love that kind of advertising. Makes their jobs a lot easier. ("I pulled you over for crossing the center line and do you mind if I search your Doobie I mean your car??")
I am a DJ/KJ at a resort on Panama City Beach, I save all my tips for the Spring thru the Fall and spend it on my cars.....best single tip to date, in one night is $202.00 from one guy so he could sing and I was done for the night when he came in, caught me before I packed up my equipment, another guy (Danny was his name) stayed a month and tipped me $100.00 a day for just walking in and saying hello to him, must have liked music and had alot of money to blow.
Mine still isn't named yet with them both still being called "The Red Car" and "The Green Car". I am leaning towards El Loco for the 68 Mustang, Ruby for the Red Gt, and Jade for the Green GT though. Here's another thread on the same subject: http://mmb.maverick.to/showthread.php?t=82871 -Scott H.
