I'm just getting into the maverick game, still looking for a car to work with. But I am an old hat in the Datsun world, where you don't buy cars because they are straight, you buy them because they actually still HAVE floor pans...I've done 6-7 complete "chop 'em out and shape new ones from sheet steel" pan replacements on the old Z's, and they look about the same amount of work. I've been looking for a Maverick based on the assumption that I'll have to put floors in anything I find, so seeing everyone look on this job like it's totally unusual makes me feel good about finding both a STRAIGHT maverick with good pans! Excellent work!
no if mine looked like that then i wouldnt have put floor pans in but hey its not like i wasnt almost draging my donkey on the road i wish u have the best of luck on this its not to bad just dont be scared to started cutting
you can buy the front part of the floor pan if its not rusted out and thats the easy part of putting floor pans in
well finally got my passager seat put in today iv been cover up the past few weeks but today i got the seat in yahoo:
Thanks for all the pictures been pissing me off trying to find a solution without just rigging up customs from sheet metal
