used one of these today to remove the pinstripes and decals from my truck...it did a great job...(y)
it took 2 mins. to remove all of them from one side.
it's an eraser about 4" across and 3/4" thick. it mounts to your drill.

The only thing you have to watch with these is burning the paint if too much pressure or too much speed is applied

Thanks for the tip Joe. I keep that in mind.
I probably would of burned my dads paint if you hadn't warned me, as I have never used a similar product before or heck...even a buffing wheel.

start at low speed and adjust to what it takes to get it off...
I did about 3-4 inches of stripe then felt the paint to see how hot it was...no heat at all...:yup:

Nvm it would NEVER get done. Thanks for the heads up on painted plastic,as his truck has alot of that. I can't wait for to try this out. Looks like fun, and your helping me avoid the major mistakes I WOULD of made guaranteed. (y)

Yep done that. Burned right thru the paint. Now it was a very thin crappy touch up job but still burned it off with too high RPM. Luckily it was a moulding going back on so it hid the damage. Just be careful with those wheels.

It can be, ive seen many a green horn hurt something. Best to use caution on anything that causes friction on paint. A good hard oem clearcoat usually will have few problems but softer unbaked enamels and clears burn easier

And I admitted to being a GREEN HORN so I appreciate the tips.
Stopped me from making blunderous mistakes and having to pay to repaint the truck. I promise you I would of had to repaint it.. or eat pavement. :D
