I picked up a 75 last year for a project car for me and my son. I did not realize how much fun this would be, my son who is 23 has been having a blast. he has helped me in the past on a few things but nothing like this.We are hoping to drop the 302 in this weekend and all he talks about is how much he wants to hear it run. Now about the car, the interior is in excellent shape, the exterior is not bad has some bondo and a lot of crappy paint flaws,(it looks great from 30 ft but up close you can see the flaws). This winter we started to rebuild a 77 302 It's bored .060 over Kieth Black hypertectic Dome pistons 10.7 to1 compression, Prostar aluminum heads 60cc 2.02 1.90, Comp cams Big muther thumper cam .491/.476 lift, Weiand Stelth Dual plane intake, Holley 670cfm Street Avenger carb, Hooker Competition Headers, Boss Hog Street Dominator tourque converter.
As a father and son project this has been a dream come true for me, My son and have always been close but this has been the best.

Its awesome to see all father / son projects that have joined in last month (y)

My father just agreed to make my maverick a father / son project...thank god I was afraid it would take me 30 years to figure out all the things he has already forgotten. :bouncy: And now I wont have to worry so much that I am about to do something REALLY REALLY stupid..that will cost me $ and more time to fix.

Come....even without the car. You will see more Mavericks and Comets in one place than you have ever seen before.

Welcome from Kalamazoo. Hope to see you driving around. I've seen a 4 door quite a bit driving around but that's it.
