Removed the HUGE hoodscoop and added a small cowl scoop that I had. It was short so i had to add about 18" to it. I know I will have to revove some of the overhang. thats alright thats easy to do.
Looks good. I might have left more of the hood where you drew it hopeing to retain some ridigity.. Maybe it's stiff and I can't see that in the pics.. But it's good bye Gonzo anyway hahaha
There are people out there that like them. If it's salvageable put it on ebay.. Make a few bucks back to go into the project in which it came from.
Had it on ebay...... no sale..... The thing about it is, its a harwood scoop. I looked at others like it and they retail for over 300.00. You could put it with the one you found. You could start an unwanted hood scoop collection........ :Handshake
they have a crazy retail...try re-listing it? got any more pics from the cowl you've added? i actually started adding a 2" cowl to my hood today, cut it out mounted and first layer of filler..hopefully get it all blocked out tomorrow and ready for primer. I'd like to see more pics to see if your doing it like me and hopefully the way i did it is correct lol.
I like the new look. Try posting the hood in art section of ebay as its made from hardwood...some collector will buy it if you come up with good sale's speech
