Removed the hoodscoop

    Couldnt find the one I watched. Those were more informitave than the one I watched. The second one is more along the line of what I did. Only I started with black base then the silver, then sprayed some real thin black over everything. Next time I will use a smaller peice of liner. Grabber hood has to many contours for a large sheet.

    Thanks for being the guinea pig and trying it first :thumbs2:
    I think it turned out pretty good, as you said alot of contours on your hood.

    Would love to see someone do it to a whole maverick, would be interesting.
    I am still not sure you could match maverickmans lovely carbon fiber hood..but if you didn't have that installed to compare it too :yup:

    Put the hood on today. Sure looks better than the other one

    I agree with Diamond Dave, sure looks better than the other scoop.:tiphat:

    I agree, almost makes me want to paint the whole thing black... Maybe if I end up keeping it...
