Funny enough, I will be there. No maverick though, don't trust driving it that far. I just found out about it, yesterday and since work has me near by might as well show up.:bouncy:

You are coming all the way from Idaho? Wow....that would be quite the drive. Are you flying in?

4 day pass bought. Saved $10 bucks. :D Even though its being paid as a business expense.. so might buy some food to eat with the 10 instead.

$10 might get you a lite snack. Ha, Ha.

Actually.....the food is really good out there. I suggest the Big Fish Sandwich or the Ham and Swiss!! Save room for ice cream.

I will try all the above, as I will attend all 3 days. Kinda looking forward to the trip now...wont be so hair pulling frustrating. I hate dealing with idiots who think they know my job better than I do. If they did, wouldn't need to pay to fly me out there and put me up to do it.
I am tempted to leave my job at the end of the year.
Just got to figure out something else first, in this down economy makes it a little more difficult.

Had to fly home today, never did meet anybody from the forum. As I asked everyone I meet with a mav if they were members.

Also missed Kiler Be but I am sure I saw your car (y)

Did score a grabber grille though, shipped it from UPS store.
    Hoping it gets here soon...lol

Where the Mavericks & Comets in the same section as the last years? It's always nice that they have to all park in one place, just too bad it's up on that hill. Did it rain at all?
We talked about it yesterday at the shop, we should have went.

Have we ever been? Every year we are in a different spot. I am always amazed on how they move the cars around year after year. Maybe it is so everybody.....eventually.....ends up "on the hill".

I stopped and talked with maverick guys for a while. They were not on the hill.

All the vendors were saying how bad it was this year for sales.

I just left on my way to NJ. Tried to by a part this morning. Guy wanted $30. I offered $25. Guy says I hate that Jew Sh&t. If it ain't worth $30 I'll pack it up and bring it home I already lost my azz this weekend.

I really wanted it but handed it back. If he simply said I really need $30 I would have paid.

I really miss going out there and talking with everyone.:( We just can't afford the trip out there anymore. I hope everyone is having a great time and the rain holds off. :)

It was a great weekend! I met a few maverick guys and saw about 7 mavericks in te show. There weren't too many vendors selling maverick parts that's for sure. The weather was great both days. We left at around 1:00 today and I got home at about 3:30. The parade on Saturday was the most fun of all!
