Kind of a follow up... we are gonna go look at this one early next week. http://www.norrisford.com/used/Ford/2011-Ford-Flex-baltimore-c44830390a0d064900ba650b0ab57d67.htm# It is a great deal, with AWD and cloth interior (my wife and I love cloth interior). We'll see how it goes.
I knew you liked blu .. My wife is still saying she wants one.. I just hope the seats are not hard. It's her vehicle that we use when we take trips. Our Trailblazer isn't too bad. We would also like to have a third row of seats. So how many seats does it have total?
It is supposed to be a 7-seater (with the bench middle row, not captain's middle row). I hope the third row seats have leg room, that is my main concern. Yeah, blue. My wife's first choice is red with the white top, but have not found a used one of those yet.
My wife is all into the burgundy looking one with a white top.. Reading the specs on the link it looks like the leg room is over a foot less in that back area.. I try not to let those kinda specs create any negative thoughts. I have to actually see and or sit back there to know if it's gonna be an issue.. When we travel it's for hours and even days so it can't be a third row that is gonna be small and hard.
Yep, I'm the same way. We will find out in person how tight it is back there. This will also be our traveling vehicle, unless we are towing a camper, then the dually is driven. We are trying not to get excited... hopefully financing will be flexible.
So, tomorrow or Monday we are going to look at a new 2012 Flex. The 2013 model year is coming out and is different, so the dealerships are really trying to move the 2012 models. We are getting quotes down to $30k for new 2012s. A local dealer has found a red, white top AWD SEL light tan interior (exactly what my wife is looking for). We shall see how it goes. The used market around here just did not have what we are looking for.
Well, we added another Ford to family. Ended up going new, but got a great deal since the 2013s are due to hit the lots soon. Here is our new 2012 Ford Flex SEL with AWD.
Thanks! It came with more options than we anticipated. It has the power rear lift gate and power folding 2nd row seats (40/40 seats). So far we love it.
