Went to a car show at a local church. I was a couple of hours late but still had fun. Met a younger fellow who was driving his father son project. 69 nova big block stroker motor, Merlin heads, a real nice build. All top quality parts and work. Runs 9:45 at the track.
He knew my car and had taken pics of it at prior events. Nice to see them like my little mav when they have such a big buck serious car themselves.

Put a fan controller, msd hvc box, and a ram air setup on the 4 door along with a new dome lense and a day/night mirror to replace the night blinding one

What did I do to my mav today? I drove it. The wife and I took a ride up to Hamilton Lake in N. Indiana. Took the long way there and back. Had no less than 3 thumbs up and many great comments along the way.

Took the keys to a car show today... came home and kicked the tire, as I wish I could of drove it and parked it off the show streets.
Anyone want to come over and fix my flex plate for me ? :biglaugh:
Just needs transmission dropped and stuff like that...as is not apart..
Going to harbor freight next week to see if I can get some stands that will raise it high enough to kill myself dropping the transmission.:burnout:
Naw.... I know I would hurt myself so I will pass on that.

I'll post in this one, you can delete the other one...
you just need to drop the transmission, it doesn't have to come all the way out from under the car...:thumbs2:
to me...removing the transmission lines is the hardest part...(use line wrenches)
there may be a...how to...on here somewhere...
if I was closer I would give you a hand...:yup:

Received my new hammer and dolly set from Eastwood yesterday and it has to go back. The "Precision Ground" dollies have more divets in them then a golf ball. This is their professional set!!!!!! Hopefully the new one they send me is in better condition. I don't want to have to buy a set of Martins..........

I appreciate the encouragement and well wishes.
Yeah if you were closer I would really enjoy the help.
As it is right now, I will park it till I can either get the money to pay someone to do it...or get the proper place/tools to do the job.
I did manage to get my hand on a mess load of instructional books off amazon...not specific to mavericks of course..lol.
I somehow bought the wrong ford small block one though..as it doesn't have anything on the 200cid..

My father actually said if I help him clean out his garage I could work on it in there...so guess I will be slobbing tons of junk out of his garage. And organizing it for him...as it looks like a hoarders nest in there.
He wont help me do anything on car till he retires though..and I really don't want to wait that long lol. As he is 3 years out from that.
