I finally got around to mocking up the Impala taillights that I bought last year. I think they're gonna look really nice once I get some paint on the car. Of course I still can't decide whether to switch to the impala lenses, with the backup lamp in the middle, or to stick with the all red caprice lenses and install a sequential turn sig setup. What do you guys think?
I like the caprice lens better, maybe use some early mustang reverse lights if you have to have them.
Nice job I welded up some of the stock Maverick holes because my Impala gaskets didn't quite cover the original non-used holes so you might want to check that
You Know? Who said you have to choose? I kinda like it all! First I would stick to the all red capri lights ( That just sounds wrong!). Second, I would hook up the sequencing lights. And last I would install the mustang backup lights on the bottom valiance.
they are for people walking behind your car as a warning you are going to back up...without them...a buzzer or beeper would do...
Who needs backup lights..............or a beeper? Kind of like walking behind a horse.........if you walk behind a vehicle while it's engine is running....................well.............you may be picking yourself up off the ground.
In PA, if your car came from the factory with backup lights you have to have them and they have to work or you won't pass the yearly safety inspection.
