Is it possible to use pics I have in the gallery here in my Sig ?

My internet provider decided that they would discontunue the "free" web space that they use to offer.

So I was wondering if I could link a couple of pics from the maverick.to
Gallery to my Signature...and should I resize them to the appropriate size first ,or what?

I uploaded my sig pic in the Control Panel so MMB is hosting my sig pic. I have plenty of storage on my server if you need or want storage.

There are several options for adding signatures on the MMB.

One option is to go to the User CP and clicking on Edit Signature.

Scroll to the bottom to select the picture to upload from your computer or one that is already on the web.

Once the file has been uploaded, click on Insert Signature Picture

    sig2.png

This will insert the SIGPIC tag in the signature area. You can move the ENTIRE tag anywhere you like in the signature area.

Another option is to upload the picture(s) to the gallery (ie your own member gallery) and then linking to them in your signature.

For example, if you wanted to add this picture as your signature, you could add it as a link to your signature area by copying the Direct Link Code found at the bottom of the page.....

    linkcode_original.png

... and pasting it in the signature area by clicking on the "Insert Image" button

Please keep the signature image within a reasonable size, especially height wise (~400 pixels is a good height).

All members have a lot of storage room in the MMB gallery, so you should be able to transfer all your pics. If you need help, I can help you transfer them over. In addition, everything is backed up on a daily basis.
