I would like to try and make the trip down to the park on Saturday. Do I need to be a member to attend? Is it possible to join once I get there? Thanks :)

    Bruce,

I have trailered many unibody Fords and always have "X"'d both front & rear. I loop the straps around the lower control arms at their inner end, then achoring to the opposite side of the trailer, and around the leaf spring in front of the axle tube for the rear. By "X"ing the straps, it prevents any side to side movement over bumpy roads.

You don't have to be a member to attend and yes you can join there.. You just have to give each member a piece of your car first :biglaugh:

I never know what's going on with my weekends, but I'm 2 1/2-3 hrs away so I "might" drive over mid day saturday. There will still be stuff going on right?

Saturday:! Morning/Afternoon--9:00am depart motel to Eubank City Park. Private
shelter with clean indoor restrooms and childrenʼs playground with walking trails. Lunch
will be sponsored by Lake Cumberland Tourism.

! ! Evening--Barry is back!! He has agreed to come back and cook our
evening meal again this year at Fishing Creek Recreational Area. The meal will be
provided for donations. Remember last year?? Yum....Yum....Yum!!!

Also keep in mind that it's like a roaming car show lol

Just so every one out there is clear on this, YOU ARE WELCOME!!! Member or not, come out and hang out. You don't have to be a member to hang out and do any of the activities, by a shirt (though you did need to order already) or join in the show. It does cost you 5 extra dollars to enter the show sat. and that is to help cover cost, but you do have a chance at some very nice door prizes and get an event wall plaque. We hope that you like what we are doing and want to be more of a part of it and join the MCG but you won't find any pressure to do so. You are still more than welcome to hang out and join the show day and acitvities without paying anything. The BBQ dinner is great and it is by donation, please show your appreciation to Barry if you go and enjoy his dinner.

I am doing nothing to my car but bringing it. It's going to be dirty, busted, and leaking various fluids. I like knowing that won't matter.
