On another board that I am a member of, anything listed in a for sale or a trade ad must have a picture posted of the item. It seems to work pretty good, you can see the item and it's condition, and it cuts out a lot of questions. Posters are given a time period of 1-2 days to post the pics, or the thread gets deleted by the mods. I think it would be a worthy addition to our forum here.

I know some will say, I don't have a camera, or whatever other excuse they can come up with. Since nearly all cell phones now days have cameras built in, and you can buy a cheap digital camera at Walmart for about $20, I don't see any valid excuse anymore. I'm sure their are members here who would post the pics for someone if they didn't know how or couldn't post them for some computer problem.

So, what do ya'll think? Big Cheeze, as always will have the last word on this.

I dont think I'd ever buy something off line without a pic.

I,too, like the idea. (y) Other than making sure you get the right part, I find that many people's definition of "good" shape is quite different...

I always ask the seller for photos, if they are not posted in the ad, and they always send them. I'd never buy something sight unseen:yup:

Don't buy it, if it doesn't have a picture, then the sellers will get the hint.

I won't buy nothing from a seller who posts no picture. Might as well be a spammer/scammer.

I dont see the need for this as long as the classifieds continue to run smoothly.

The classifieds guidelines do mention that pictures should be included.

Even if pictures are included, you must do you due diligence before buying selling on the Internet.

Unfortunately, each and every rule was put in place due to someone abusing the classifieds.
