Yes, they are. They are Goodyear tires. My brother's tires also sit out exposed, and they cracked. They were Carlisle tires.

Here is Barry with HIS car (it always helps me to see which car they have). Barry is in the white shirt with the blue car.

Not meant for anyone. Just saying my car isn't perfect. It has rock chips from being driven & enjoyed. Sorry if I offended anyone.

Can't wait to meet you also. :thumbs2: Will probably only attend the Saturday show & shine. :Woot: Maybe dinner on Friday & the MCCI meeting. (y) Wife has a bad knee an can't walk far. We will also have our Pomeranian with us. I'll be staying @ my brothers place in South Lyon. :drive: Have not seen him in 20+ years. Also lots of family in the area that I haven't seen in 20+ & 40+ years. I'll be making the rounds. But will make a point to visit & chat with everyone @ the hotel on Saturday. I've been looking forward to going to an MCCI annual roundup for years. One more thing I can cross off my bucket list...

I've decided to take my car on the trailer, it's been a hot few weeks, and I'm a little tired, after two 60+ hour weeks at work.....I'll enjoy myself more in my F150 for the drive there and back...

Even though I am only 90 minutes away, I think I will be renting a tow dolly to bring my car down on Saturday. I got out on the highway today with my GPS and found my car is running around 3500 rpm at 65 mph. The car has a 4.11 gear and I am not sure how good the prolonged high rpm will be on the motor. It's all highway to the event from my house and interstate 94 moves along pretty fast. Anyhow, at least the car is ready to show; I look forward to meeting everyone.

As long as you get the car there....that is all that matters. Oh....and you too!! :D

Yeah.....3500 rpm's would be quite a bit. Maybe choose a more scenic state highway for your route?

Either way....WE will see you there. :thumbs2:

Just installed new fan, thermostat, brakes, plugs and changed oil. Sewed up some tears in my cover too. Still need to clean and sew the top, its getting old. I want to touch up a couple chips and wire up a temporary lighter so I can jam to pandora on the ride! So excited to see everyones cars and put faces to names.

That is the best part. It is like a family reunion with family you have not met yet!!

Amen .............. I had an absolute ball last year meeting all the guys (and gals) from the forum. And to see over 40 Mavericks and Comets in one place was absolutely amazing!

The only thing that is keeping me away this year is the fact I'm swamped here at my business. When you're self employed and in your busy season, it can be very tough to get away. :(

If anyone of you is even remotely thinking about going and you have the time ..... GO ..... you will not regret it ............. :Handshake
