Her ya go, Gene - the actual color of orange my car will be This is the Camaro that my gallon of orange was originally purchased for. Dale Doll repaired and painted the crashed front end and the owner wasn't happy since Dale's new paint didn't match the crappy Maaco paint job still left on the rest of the car. Jean told me today that the front end paint came out beautiful but the Maaco paint was all cracked and peeling. I think it looks like a nice car in the photo with Dale behind the wheel but I guess the owner has since wrecked it - again
Got back to work on the Maverick today after 4 days at the Jersey Shore. Got all of the Rust Bullet removed from the zillion of spot welds so I can begin to weld the cowl cover back on once and for all. Also removed the external spot weld lip from the corner of the firewall. With the plan for the tilt front end, I'm working on getting the firewall as smooth as can be. The firewall corners on both sides will be re spot welded to an inside piece of 1 x 1 inch angle. I also made more paint removal progress on the door jambs, windshield frame and A pillars
