    Actually that is a 1974 Laguna S3 with a 454

Check the Mustang II for a Trac-Lok as well

It appears to be a GT frm the pix. Looks like it has the hi-back seats, hood scoop and strips. If it's not a GT someone went thru a little trble makin it a clone. Im not sure abt those stripes - I suppose it depends on the year of the car.

Just got in and there was a message from the guy leaving me his cell #. I called back and of course there was no answer. I left him a message and said call me back. Apparently we are playing phone tag and now he is it.

On the bright aluminum trim on the decklid and tail panel....I've never seen an original GT without it. Same with the wheel moulding trim that sometimes gets missing. On the stripes....those are obviously painted on. The only white stripes I have ever seen were on '73-'75 GT's. And even on those....no white tail panels or hood stripes. They were black....with the exception of some argent tail panels on silver striped cars....but even they had the blackout hood stripes.

The guy finally called back. The Maverick has rust issues and would be better off for parts and it is straight. It has a 302 and bucket seats that he thinks are not original. The Comet he believes is a GT and doesn't have the rust issues of the Maverick. It doesn't have an engine, but he thinks the bucket seats are original. He will sell them separately, but would like to get rid of both at the same time for $1500. Man, I wish I had the room and the cash.
I also found out he has the '71 or '72 Grabber clone I have seen for years. It looks nice and sound pretty healthy.
