I'm headed to the Gathering.

 

There is a big car show/swap meet at the Baer Brakes facility this saturday from 8am to noon. Its near 22nd ave and Peoria, just east of I-17 if you didnt know. Ill probably be cruising there in my mustang.

 

I thought you used to own a Maverick?

 

I still do, and like yours it just sits in the garage. I just need to find my ignition problem and fix it. Been too busy messing with the mustang to keep it on the road. Even if the maverick ran I wouldnt drive it back and forth in the middle of the day in 105 degrees.

 

Wimp. Our truck broke down all last week and all we had to drive in Ky. was the Maverick.

 

See you drove it because you didnt have a choice. I would actually drive the car to work sometimes if it was running. I was on my way to work when it broke down. Just need to get my volt meter and track down my ignition problem. Ive been busy doing the clutch on my mustang 4 times because of unbalanced flywheels for the last month or so. and before that I was doing brake upgrade. Now its time to get the maverick running again. Just no time to do that before Saturday. Im pretty sure Ill have it up and running in time for our Fall meet. Did I just say that? another meet? no its too ealry to even think about it.

 

Hopefully mine will still be running for the Fall meet. Hope I can make it.

these are stock ford crown victoria or mercury grand marquis. i want 16s but will settle for 15s with Ford/Merury center cap just like in the pics

Luke AFB just announced they have been confirmed as the new F-35A training base. This is great for the west valley, except for the old farts that complain about the noise because they chose to live next to an air force base.

Every time I hear them go over my place I tell whoever is on the phone that it's just the sound of freedom! Fighter jets just kick ass.

 

It's neat when you are driving down Litchfield Road in the mornings and see the F-16's doing their maneuvers.

 

I take Camelback wesst around 5pm and see them looping around the base on their landing apporach in groups of 3 or so. its kind of distracting to my driving cause I watch them as long as i can. And for some reason whenever I see a bumper sticker saying they hate the jet noise I have the urge to rear end them.
