In keeping with my "why buy it when you can build it theme"I decided to use a couple pieces off the frame my dad built for the car....Its .125 wall 2" x 3" tubing....now I know these would hang too low so that will be dealt with later...

started getting the bends right....the template is helpful......

got both rails to fit the template.....:drive:

ok folks......I had to cut the 3" tall tubes in half so I could make the total hieght of the tube 2"......the added benefit is that it will double the side wall thickness....
double checked the fit......yes I know I have to attend to the rocker panel rot...
    tacked the two halves together...
I added welding tabs to the ends......and there you go.....subframe connectors.....I know I could have bought some but what fun is that...now to do the drivers side connector..:drive:

Make sure you leave room for the parking brake cables to pass

Well....used a spool of wire.....had the material already....with some planning and old fashion grinding the new subframes are in....I welded the crap out of them....I can lift the whole care from the middle of subframe and it doesnt move.... you can tell the the car is stiffer...every rusty piece of metal replaced gets me closer to a ride....:drive:
