Anyone have their headlight buckets chromed?

    Anyone have their headlight bezels chromed?

    If so can you post pictures, I am thinking about doing this but not sure how it might look.

    I would think that it would look too gawdy and not flow/transition well with the hoods front trim.. if you even have trim on the leading edge of the hood of course.

    Accents are good on ocassion.. but you can.. and many do.. go too far and bring out a particular section/feature of the car too much. But.. I do openly admit to not really being fond of the front Pinto style lights on these cars.. so I am biased and would never dream of over-accentuating them anyways.. so there's that. lol

    Just be sure to post some pics to show others how it turned out if you do decide to go that route. Good luck with it.

    PS.. before going the full chrome route there.. I would completely cover the piece/s in masking tape and spray it with chrome paint and stand back to see how you like it first. Easily removed without spending much time or money.

    :hmmm:...The headlight bucket is not visible once the headlight is installed.

    I just assumed he meant "headlight bezel" and responded to that.

    I must have used the wrong term, I probably meant bezel. The part that is painted gray or black with chrome trim.
