    Hello,
I'm new to the forum and a proud new Maverick owner! We bought it a week ago we noticed the trunk lid was not bolted. So we managed to find the bolts in the corner of the trunk, but we cannot figure out how or what to screw them in! Is there a special nut that goes into the brackets (supports)??? For the top hole, I can get a u-nut lined up, but what can I use for the bottom holes?
If anyone has pics, I sure could use them!
I hope this makes sense. Thanks!

there is a special clip with the nuts made into it (about 3" long) for mounting the lid...it may have fallen down the inside of the arms...:yup:

Hello and welcome from another RVA mav owner! I have a parts car that probably has what your looking for, unless 4 door trunk lids mount differently.

Hey MaverickDan, I don't know if the 2 & 4 door mount differently or not. But I'm willing to try.

2-door and 4-door are the same. Sounds like Frank can hook you up.

Old thread - but I had some handy and thought I would put a picture with this thread incase anyone was wondering what the nut bracket and bolts look like.

Yes, but that is irrelevant. Many new people search old threads for information. Now there is a picture to go with the information about the part being discussed.
